The kids had a fun night at Kangaroo Zoo with their cousins. It’s a bunch of blow up bouncy houses and slides and the kids just went crazy for 2 hours!
Packer Chews on EVERYTHING!
Benji is at the top of this Dragon Slide Screaming for his mom – I just wanted a picture of him sliding down.
It’s 1:30 and my boys should be in bed for naps but for some reason this and bedtime are their favorite times to play and be silly – they are natural born bed-time stallers. I love when they wrestle like this 😆
I found a few more wedding reception pictures that are blog worthy:
Benji was so cute just hanging out and watching all of the action.
My little baby is getting so big! If you give him enough kisses then he’ll give them back 🙂
The Sean Family. He’s off to BYU in the fall!
The Shannon and Friends Family. What cute girls. Shan is heading to BYUI in the Fall!
The Kelsey Fam. Shaelyn is our neice but is often mistaken for a sister. Kels is the last Robertson!
Cute Boys at the Sacramento Temple!
A Family Picture at the Reception. I love my boys!
Benj got a little bored during the reception – this is him at the back window making faces at all of the guests!
these little goats at the farm are so hungry and just waiting for the next little kid to walk through the door with a bottle…
This guy had Benji going in circles because he was so aggressive going for the milk.
How Cute!
Our last night in Wisconsin! We needed a pic of the boys with grandma and grandpa and they were sporting their new Milwaukee Brewer Pajamas! Brewer and Packer clothing stock should have gone up last week after having the Nettesheims in town!
Some of my family came to town this last weekend for Tracie and Johns Utah reception, as we sat around on Friday night I mentioned the idea of rebuilding the back steps of our house,…Now – any of you that have been to mine and Ben’s house in the last 2 years are well aware that we need a new back porch! So we were excited and amazed when my dad and Ryan started talking through the project, made a Home Depot list and the next morning we were off to the store!!…
All torn down and ready to start building.
Framed, 100 times sturdier than the last one! What are Ben and Joel up to??
Ben wanted proof that he really did help with his porch, atleast a little bit!
Packer loved being outside and loved using the Hammer and loved being in the middle of it all.
The 2 master minds. Ryan and Dad deciding on one more detail. They didn’t even write any plans down!
I got to do the scrub work – tearing apart the old deck.
Final Touches! AND IT IS DONE! We love our new back steps! Thanks again to all who helped.
Today is June 20th. I just got back from my 2nd trip to Oroville this month. In fact I have spent all but 3 days this month in Oroville with my parents and other family members – what a fun time. I don’t think I’ve seen my family this much since before I got married so it was great. Tracie and John got married – the Temple was awesome and the reception was great – lots of good friends and family made it perfect – Welcome to the Family John!
I also got to spend more time than usual with friends and that was fun to play with them again. Really the only down fall of the month has been the 14 of 21 days that I was away from my husband. Contrary to what Mikila might tell you I am still very much in love with him and missed him a ton. 🙂
Some of the Robertson Families:
Some fun things I learned on my vacation: Anika taught me that a PT Cruiser might cost you 100,000 dollars! LaNell who has swim suit issues: would like me to tell the swim suit makers of the world that we would like to keep those things in close to us and not hanging out for all to see 🙂 I was impressed with Kevins goal that he scored in his soccer game BUT not surprised when he showed up limping on a Fat ankle the next day – maybe the over 30 club really can’t handle competitive soccer any more! Most of all I learned that I still have really good friends that go all the way back to primary and Junior high days – and I am determined to get us all together for a Lake Oroville camping trip next summer. Lets do this!
On Saturday night I decided that it would be a good idea to jump in the car the next day and drive to Oroville California with Erica and her kids. It was graduation week for my twin siblings, Shannon and Sean, so I wanted to be there for that. The Tracie and John wedding was also less than 2 weeks out so I wanted to help prepare for that … and that is exactly what I did. We spent a week at my mom and dad’s house and I had a great time with my parents and siblings that were home. It was especially nice to spend some one on one time with the youngest 3 – Â Shannon, Sean, and Kelsey, since I haven’t lived at home fo rthe past 10 years its fun to see them grown up and getting their own personalities.
The Graduates: Las Plumas Class of 2008. Shannon was Co-class President and MC at the graduation. Sean was Top Ten in his class. Congratulations guys! We Loved Being There for it.
Packer spent most of his time right here on Grandma’s front porch. His cousins Payton and Carter joined him often. He was entertained by Triskit the Mouse, The Flying Pig, and the flowers. He also decided that if anyone left the house then he wanted to leave also. This made it tough because someone was always leaving, needless to say he learned to throw some good fits.
Benji’s favorite part was going in the Hot Tub. We used it like a swimming pool and Benji did some of his best swimming. He would see his cousins do some cool jumps and back flops and would follow right along with them. Good swimming Benj!
I haven’t posted all month! Maybe I’m not cut out for this Blogging world! Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Packer made the big move to a Big Boy Carseat and is loving it. We love watching him dance in the car.
My brother Josh and his wife Mallory and Baby Payton came to visit at the beginning of the month! You might note that their 6 month old is the same size as our 1 year old – hmmm – -maybe we are short parents 🙂
Summer is finally here so we spent a Saturday in the yard getting it cleaned up and “making the sand box cool”. Benji and Packer are loving the sand box and as long as I don’t mind Packer eating all of the sand then it is hours of unsupervised fun.
Ben has been waiting for the weather to warm up so that he could get the garden started. It’s been a little rough with bad weather, the dog chewing the soaker hoses and some sort of animal has taken a liking to all of the pumpkin plants so few have survived :( But … we are determined to have a salsa garden and a few pumpkins at Halloween 🙂 Good work Ben and happy 33rd Birthday!
I got a new Vacuum! A Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum – I love it and I love that it actually gets the Dog Hair out of my house!
May 16th and 17th was our ward father and sons campout! I tried to convince Ben to take BOTH of his sons but he didn’t quite go for that. So Benji and Dad went to the little Sahara desert and had a good time in the sand dunes. Though I did hear that on the way home Benji said “Dad, that was fun, but next time Mom should come too.” How sweet. It was less than 24 hours but Packer and I missed them.
Benji PLayed Flashlights in the tent for a good 45 minutes before falling asleep 🙂
We might need a bigger pool this summer…
We spent a day at Yuba Lake with Erica and Pacen and Camry Hancock. It was a fun day – good picnic, warm water, mostly happy kids but it was a little stinky and got windy when it was time to go. So we’re still looking for a good lake and wishing we lived by Lake Oroville – what a beautiful and perfect swimming lake – I miss it 🙁
That was our month. Today was the last day of school so the neighbor girls came to see if Benji and Packer wanted to come ride bikes and play in the Cul-de-sac 🙂 and my sister-in-law Jamie had a baby this morning! A girl! Number 5! No name yet 🙂
