Teachers Quorum Hike
They went up passed Battle Creek Falls… prepping for the Kings Peak Hike at the end of the summer!
AJR
The LONG AWAITED day finally came. We got tickets to AJR for Christmas! Packer and Benji knew EVERY SINGLE SONG. The Usana was packed! It was a surprisingly good concert. And Boy with Uke was fun too. What a fun night!
Packers Birthday – 15!
Packs birthday was on a Monday and there was no school! He got his gifts in the morning: Lego, Airsoft gun, a new game, white screen, weights and another AJR hoodie!
We went to Harvey park with Matt and Jamie’s family and they brought Bennett and Becker. Amanda and some of the kids came and we brought Gus, Dag and Mae. We played for hours. They did basketball and the playground. I played a bunch of pickleball. We had a picnic lunch and then came home to relax.
That night some of us went to Ray’s soccer game:
And then we celebrated with Pudim!
We had haystacks for dinner and ended the night with the spanking train and called it a day. Packer spent most of the day relaxing and doing his lego and checking out the other new gifts. He is a really good kid and can set his mind to something and make it happen. I’m excited to see him grow up! Welcome to real full blown teenager years – next step drivers permit!
For a party he had Luca and Asher and James over for a Friday night of video games. They just chilled and snacked. Super low key.
Family Life

Girls Weekend with Angelee, Erica and LaNell!
A bunch of the kids had sore throats and a few of them stayed home for a day. And the kids got haircuts.
And Lambeau! He’s in teenager mode… he found the hole in the garbage can and was eating the garbage. And he will always look for Millie to leave her cereal bowl out on the table so he can finish it.
Braces and Boarding!
Packer has Braces! Since March 2nd!
After he got the braces we went up to Sundance to Snow Board. It was Packers first time. He did really good. He just took off and fell down a bunch and popped right back up. It was a HOT day and the snow was pretty good. Much better than the ice that Benji learned on. we had a lot of fun and even went up to the top of the main lift!
JV State Wrestling Championships
Ben and Rose and I went to watch Packer at his last wrestling Tournament. He got beat 9-1 in his first match but it felt closer!
2nd Match was also tough. Pack just couldn’t quite turn it. He was almost able to pull some of his moves but in the end he lost that one too.
High School
Benji has been busy getting ready for the musical – he’s a ghost in Addams Family! and he wants to audition for Choir. Packer has been getting ready for State Wrestling. He did Varsity 2 for Regions 113lb. and will do JV State 106lb.
AF Tournament
Packer was back at it early Saturday. Ben and I got the schedule and then would try to go over and catch him on the mat. We watched 3 and missed 1. He lost the first 3 matches…
But the last match was AMAZING! Packer was getting beat. I thought he was going to lose for sure but then at the end of the 2nd period he got a take down. Coach told him to let him up and do it again so Packer did! and then 3rd period Packer just flipped the switch. He pulled this amazing PIN!
Friday Ski Day!
Erica and I snuck in a few hours at Sundance on Friday!
Then Ben had Ray at State Wrestling all day. The girls packed up and went to a Young Womens retreat at Mutual Dell. They got to spend the night! Ben got to go up for the evening. Packer had duals at AF.
