Rose Lost her 1st Tooth! and 2nd Tooth!!
Rose lost her first tooth on December 20th, 2016 5:30 P.M. Kindergarten year.
and her 2nd tooth came out 2 weeks later on January 3rd, 2017!

Soccer Fall 2016
I love this soccer family. Soccer dominates our spring and fall but we all enjoy it. We had practices Monday through Wednesdays and then games all day Saturday, literally 8am-5pm. Benji played on an older team this year with 12 and 13 year olds and still with a lot of his old team. Packer still loves playing on the same team as Luca. Cali got to play with goalies and with Mia, Anna, and Claira with Uncle Matt helping coach. Rose got to play with Ellie and Gentry this year. And Ray ended up being with our neighbors Noah and Ivy. They will stay with these same teams in the Spring. Ben loves coaching these kids and these kids love Ben as a coach!
Soccer Season is here
we have 5 soccer players this year!!

So our Saturdays usually start with a 9am game and we finish at 4 or 5 pm. They are full days but we enjoy watching and coaching and seeing cousins and friends and the little ones all love the different play grounds. Ben is a great coach. All the kids love him cause he’s so positive and fun. He spends Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights coaching! luckily it’s only a 7 week season 🙂
Rose is 6!
Rose had quite the birthday bash this year! She and Gentry wanted a combined Alice in Wonderland party. Ever since we went to Disneyland in May, Rose has liked Alice because that is her Disney Character.
On Friday she and Gentry had 4 little friends over, Ellie, Cami, Lila, and Addison, and 10 siblings! Erica and I planned a Mad Tea Party and they pinned the smile on the Chechire Cat and painted the Roses Red and played Croquet. It was a fun party. The kids all dressed up and the older ones made themselves costumes and everyone had lots of fun.
After that party LaNell and I grabbed some Taco Bell and then all of the Nettesheim cousins came over for party #2. This one was much more low key. We left out the previous party games and just let them play and entertain themselves. We had cake and ice cream and they watched Alice in Wonderland to end the night.
Rose was a very happy and very tired almost 6 year old. She woke up on Saturday morning, HER REAL BIRTHDAY, and played in a 9am soccer game. She scored 5 goals! We watched conference and went to soccer games all day and then finished by going to the Demolition Derby in Ogden that night! It was a LOOOng derby but the kids had fun and we came home around 1am exhausted.
Rose is loving being a big kid. She loves to go to school. She loves having friends come over. She is a great helper for me in the mornings. She is good at playing games and is competitive in sports. She is really a great peacemaker and friend.
My HOME crew
when all the kids are off at school this is what I’m still up against:
Ray is pretty easy. He does his Upstart Computer Homework every day after we take Rose to school. Then he gets a little bit of tablet time. He is self sufficient and doesn’t demand much. My biggest problem with him is that he will play the tablet and disappear = playing way tooo much.
Millie still runs the house. I am trying to potty train but she and I are both lazy. She loves to snuggle with me and watch shows or kids Utube crazy homemade videos. I usually snuggle with her and rest while Ray does his homework.
Tiago is ready for a nap right after we drop Rose off. He takes a good 2-3 hour nap every afternoon. He is learning to yell and use his voice and communicates a lot with his actions. He is so much fun to chill and laugh with.
Kindergarten

We have been counting down to Kindergarten since the first day of summer! Rose was soo ready and soo excited to go to school. We decided to do afternoon Kindergarten since Rose is our best sleeper inner and my best morning helper.
We took pictures before… and of course the younger siblings needed pictures also.
Millie is such a silly little girl. She hopped right up there and shook her bum at the camera!
We had to get pictures with Gentry! These 2 girls were born a day apart and they are great friends. Not in the same class 🙁 but excited for recess 🙂
Ray will miss Rose the most. He follows her every where and they play a ton.

Then it was finally time to walk to school. (after another round of pictures cause we were so early!)

Rose had no fears. She ran right up and got in line. Ellie is in her same class! but we didn’t get a picture yet.
We picked her up after school the first day but she informed me that we don’t need to come because she can walk with Ashlyn, Anna and Ellie!!

Rose got to go to a play with Ben. They went and watched Beauty and the Beast in Lehi. One of Ben’s coworkers was the Beast. Rose LOVED it.
She wore her Belle dress and carried around her light up rose all day. Everyone watched Beauty and the Beast and danced to the Sound track. Definitely a successful Dad Night!

the boys left for Father and Sons and the girls partied! We couldn’t let them have all of the fun so we headed to the PG pool!
Then we spent an hour or two at McDonalds! Dinner, play place, Fudge Sundays…
And then Tiago and Millie went to bed before 8:00 and Cali, Rose, and I stayed up watching movies! Teen Beach #2 and My Girl.
Saturday morning we turned on My Girl 2 while we waited for the boys to get home. It was fun to hang out with my girlies. Maybe next year Tiago can be a boy 🙂
Rose Graduation
On Saturday June 25th Rose Graduated from her Upstart Preschool! She had to do 30 minutes 5 days a week! She really liked it at first and then got a little bored but pushed through and finished even in June when the kids were out of school. She is almost reading. Recognizes some words and sounds out some words.
She had a little test at the Graduation so I didn’t let the other kids come. After she and I went to Taco Amigo and got Strawberry Shakes and Rose had to have a Burrito! She is SOO READY for Kindergarten.
The End of Soccer Season
Soccer is over. We are saying goodbye to the Red Racers, the Nachos, Orange Crush and Purps. Ben coached all 4 teams and he did a great job. The kids just love him. Cali played a game in the rain. It rained for the entire hour and never stopped!Cali and Mia and Henry had a blast this year.
Rose scored in all of her games this season 🙂 She hadn’t scored in the last game and it was her last chance so she went out there and chased that ball and kept at it until she got the GOAL!!!!!

Packer was on the Orange Crush. He didn’t get a goal this season but he had fun. I missed a lot of his games because of naps and weather 🙁

and Benji missed his last game because we were all sick 🙁 He had a good season though: Cannon, Austin, Holden, Brandt, Conor, Colby, Gabe, Kael, Abe, Haydn, and Jacob.
Now we will enjoy our 3 month break and then start up again 🙂
