November = Wrestling
Rays shoes from last year fit Tiago perfectly so he had to go to practice and try them out! It was so fun watching Tiago out there. He tries so hard and he LOVES it!
The Big Boys are work horses! They are there 4 days a week for 2.5 hours and then tournaments on Saturdays.
Benji Soccer
Benji and Team Blue or Smurfs or… they never could decide on a name. We’ll see if they figure it out in the spring.

Benji ended up having a pretty fun season! He’s a 9th grader on the 7-9th league. His team didn’t win very many but they did improve a bit and Benji did score 3 or 4 goals throughout the season!! That is a personal high for sure!
Another Service Project
Youth Night Pumpkin Carvin
The next day Benji and Packer met up with some friends at James’s house and took all of the pumpkins that people didn’t want and made a smashing pumpkins video!
Just Another School Project
Taking pictures of angles… I love this 9th Grader and how he convinced Packer to take the pics.
Smurfs
Benji is playing soccer again. He is the big 9th grader now and HE SCORED A GOAL in his first game! He’s got a lot of young little guys on his team this year so it’ll be a different season than the last! We headed out for celebratory ice cream but we ended up with dinner after a long day of soccer games!
Benji is an EAGLE SCOUT!
After lots of hard work and campouts and merit badges – Benji had his Eagle review and he passed! We’re Proud of Him.
Benji
Benji chose to hit the Pickleball courts! We played about 3 games and worked on our serves and on putting spin on the ball. We had such a good time on the court. Of course I tried to talk about life and school and friends and girls but we mostly talked smack and focused on the game.
We got rained on a little but we stuck it out and enjoyed being cooled off. We headed to Sodalicious to use Benji’s FREE drink and then to Costa Vida because he chose a burrito over a milk shake.
Benji is getting so grown up. It was a blast to spend the afternoon with him.
Cut’n Grass
We finally got the boys mowing the lawn.
