These girls finished the season with their first WIN!! It was so great. Us and Mom and Joel and Sean and fams were all there to watch.
They were tied 1-1 and then Anna scored!! It was amazing!!

Girls Weekend with Angelee, Erica and LaNell!
A bunch of the kids had sore throats and a few of them stayed home for a day. And the kids got haircuts.
And Lambeau! He’s in teenager mode… he found the hole in the garbage can and was eating the garbage. And he will always look for Millie to leave her cereal bowl out on the table so he can finish it.
I asked LaNell if she could help Cali get stronger and faster so I don’t have to pay to take her to some expensive training. So we have been going about twice a week to her school and using her workout room. LaNell plans a workout for them and it has been so good! Cali and Rose have gone every time. Mia came once. Ray and I do it sometimes. And Millie and Tiago just come and play and do their own workouts. We are all pretty excited about it!
On Thursday afternoon I checked the kids out of school and we drove to St. George for Cali’s soccer tournament!! Ben, Benji and Packer stayed home to work, be in the play and wrestle… We didn’t make any stops and got there around 4:30pm. We got to stay at Matt and Jamie’s condo with them (Ash, Anna and Ellie) and Michelle and Udine (Mia and Luca). We went to Jersey Mike’s Subs for dinner and then we left the kids home and went to an 8pm soccer game! They tied 1-1 and they won the PK’s. Cali made her shot! It was a great shot – top mid leftish.
On Friday they had a game at noon. So Jamie made some breakfast eggs and we did a puzzle and then we all went to the game. They lost this one. I think it was 1-0. And then they won the PK’s.
After the game we went to Nielsens for Custard and then back to the Condo to play:
The kids swam and played at the clubhouse for a long time! – after 6pm and then we were starving!
Cali and Anna and Mia had gone to the Fiesta Fun Center and did bowling and Arcades with some of their teammates!
We went to Chic Fil A for dinner:
On Saturday they had a 10am game so Udine made everyone waffles and then we went to the game: The girls played well but the other team was physical. We had our chances but couldn’t score and the other team got one lucky goal. I think we lost 1-0 again and then we lost the Pk’s.
Tournament was over for us but we still needed Freddy’s and the kids were really wanting to play racquetball again:
Back at Sports Village:
Cali and the older girls wanted to swim and Diego came down from SUU and so he and Luca and Ashlyn all got in. They had so much fun swimming with cousins. We stayed until about 4:30 and then hit the road. It was a 3.5 hour drive. I got us home safe and sound 🙂 We have such a fun family. I’m grateful to have been able to go with them and have a blast.
Somehow Millie got me to say YES to a Late Night. She and Hannah planned it and dropped off invitations and were more than excited. 6:00 was party time. They played outside and did capture the flag. They played games in the basement. They watched SING 2 and ate popcorn and candy and water. It was mostly successful.

Rose was at a bday party, Benji and Pack were home, Cali was at PG high schools indoor soccer tournament. Her team of friends had so much fun. They won 2 and then last 2 to the other celtic girls. And Abbie and Kristin came to hang with me for a few minutes and take all the party kids home.
Cali’s team signed up for a tournament in Las Vegas so here we go!
We drove down on Friday – left around 11am. It ended up being an at home learning day because EVERYONE has been out with Covid! We brought Anna with us. We ate lunch – uncrustables in the car and then were ready for dinner when we got there.
We had to leave Benji home to go to his Adams Family Rehearsals all weekend and we had to leave Packer home to go his wrestling tournament. So weird not to have them with us!
We checked in to our hotel – Hampton Inn – Summerlin – (small rooms, no pool :)) And then we met up with the Falabellas at Jersey Mikes for dinner. Then the girls had their first game that night at 8:00.
And they played again Saturday morning at 9am. Ben and I left the kids at the hotel watching movies during the morning game! Cali didn’t get to start but she came off the bench each half and would play the rest of the half. She is working on being aggressive -first to the ball and use her body to shield. They lost both games. Coach was mad – said they need to talk more.
We went back and got the kids and then out to PIZZA at GIORDANO’s. It was a LONG wait. But Delicious.
Then we got everyone to go DOWNTOWN to the M and M store! We wandered the store and the Coca Cola Store and the ROSS. The feather girls with no shirts on were pretty gross but otherwise we had a good time.

We rested up for a minute and then headed out for Cali’s 7:00 soccer game that night. They played so well. They were pumped up. They were fast to the ball and teh team was more their skill level – – and they SCORED a goal! Ended up tying 1-1.
Dinner Time at In and Out with family and a few teammates. Rose had some fun with the stickers! We headed back to the hotel and fell asleep to a movie. I went to bed early each night!
We didn’t make it to the final Monday round of games but we HAD to pay for the hotel through Sunday so we spent Sunday in Vegas. We watched church on Zoom and we face timed Benji and Packer to do our come follow me. That afternoon we met up with the cousins at a park and hung out there most of the day.
We ate sandwiches at the hotel for dinner and then chilled. The kids got together and made a music video to We Don’t Talk About Bruno – Encanto. We got up earlyish Monday morning and came home. It was Martin Luther King Day so no school. We stopped and got Craigo’s breadsticks on the drive home. Ben worked from the car.
Benji and Packer did good without us. They took good care of each other and of the dog. Amanda had them over for sunday dinner so they loved that.
We met at the house and then went to Chic Fil A – after dinner we went to a couple of stores and went shopping and let the girls just hang out. Once they were done shopping we stopped by 7-11 for some Hot Chocolate and then took everyone home!
Another Year, another teenager! We had lots of fun celebrating Cali! PRESENTS in the morning:
Her birthday was a Monday so it was pretty low key. After school, she hung out at home and watched some BYU in the evening and ate this beautiful SnowMan cake before going through the spanking train!
Cali is a teenager now! It’s so fun watching her grow up. She is fun and loving and spunky. She is so good with her brothers and sisters and she loves any time spent with friends. We sure love this one.
