For those who read about my ultrasound and have been in worry and wonder mode (especially APA)… My blood test came back ‘NORMAL’ so we should be in the clear! I still haven’t talked to my Dr. directly but I feel like we don’t have anything to worry about. She has started moving around a bunch and I have my first back aches, Now we just need a good name for her ๐Ÿ™‚

How to play Dominion with 9 people at a small table...

We played games and ate food all day on Monday. I loved having my family come over. We ended up with 7 of 12 siblings, 3 of 6 in-laws, and 7 of 18 cousins!

It was perfect weather for our barbeque!

We are having another little girl! It will be equal number of boys and girls and that is what is most important when you are 3-5 years old ๐Ÿ™‚ Cali is still clueless but has taken to talking to my stomach. Packer cried because he wanted a brother so we bribed him with getting a new bunk bed because the girls will need his bed. And Benji just thinks it’s good cause we will have 3 boys in the family and now 3 girls.ร‚ย We are excited!! Can the next 4 months go quickly please? ๐Ÿ™‚

Radiologist said I’m measuring about a week small so baby might not come until October.

Radiologist also found an EIF in the heart, I don’t know exactly what that means, my Dr. said it means a chance of the baby having Down Syndrome.ร‚ย Wikipedia says this:

    Smart but Stupid

I had to take the van in to the shop again this week ๐Ÿ™ I pay the guy his 500$ish dollars and drive away. Well the whole way home the car was idling really high and driving a lot worse than when I took it in. I just kept getting madder and madder as I drove because my car was definitely not fixed! Benji kept asking why we were ‘bumping’, to which I had no answer. The car place was closed at this point so I sat on the couch and let it get to me for the next few hours – thinking that this guy must have messed up or he better not just tell me I have an old car and deal with it. At 10pm I decide I better go to the grocery store now so that I can deal with the car in the morning. I wanted to take the van to hear the symptoms again so I could be knowledgeable when I call the guy in the morning. I turn the engine on and listened and then decided to pop the hood and see if anything looked weird. I looked under and found a hose that was not attached to anything. So I picked it up and it shocked me pretty good! (that was the stupid part of this story) Then I got smart and turned the car off and then found a place for that hose that was just lying there unattached. (It was one of the Spark Plugs) I plugged it in and went to the store and my van ran like a charm!! I really should be a mechanic ๐Ÿ™‚ or at least get a little money back for my troubles. O’well – at this point I’m just glad that something else wasn’t broken.

How to Drink through your Shirt - It's MAGIC!

“MOM! Watch THIS!! I can drink through my shirt!!! It’s like magic!” good job Packer ๐Ÿ™‚ glad it was only water.

Twins - we need our paci's and our blankee's

Mia is over this morning and these two girls are too much alike. They both are strong willed and they both want everything and they can’t talk so it is a lot of whining. Luckily they are both really cute and can be a lot of fun – as long as they get their way ๐Ÿ™‚ (for the record… Cali doesn’t use a paci – but she has pulled this one out a few times to be like her friends ๐Ÿ™‚ )

    Benji is getting TOO big!

Packer took this picture of us – not bad. Benji is always very aware of others and their feelings, He will go out of his way to make sure that feelings aren’t being hurt and you can always manipulate him by giving a pouty face – good and bad quality.ร‚ย This morning for breakfast we were out of everything – no cereal, no oatmeal, no toast… so Benji says, “Mom – I think you need to go to the store today and buy lots and lots of food.” I think he is right. And yes – I did get my hair cut.

    Moms kitchen Helper

This is Cali’s spot while I make dinner lately. She must be right on the counter or else she is hugging my leg the whole time. In this pic she is eating some nasty onion remains – YUM. Today I went to cut an apple for lunch and both apples had about three Cali size bites taken out of them!

    Too Cute!

I stole this from Erica because it is just adorable. Never mind Cali’s mohawk hair and baggy onesie. This age can be soo much fun.

That’ll do it for randomness of late – maybe tomorrow will bring more. I am tired. It is only 7:30 – hmmm maybe the kids will put themselves to bed if I just go to bed.

    Our Wonderful MiniVan

When we were in St. George the weekend before last we grabbed some food and headed to meet up with family at the park. On the way there our van decided to not shift out of 2nd gear. We are not car people so we debated what to do and checked the transmission fluid. Caravans have a bad rap for needing a new transmission about this time so we were worried because of course it was 7pm on a Saturday night and we wouldn’t be able to get it looked at until Monday morning and planned to drive home on Sunday and… we did not want to be stuck on vacation ๐Ÿ™‚
We decided to take it to an old family friend that lived in the area to at least get another opinion on driving home in that condition and it started shifting just fine on the way to his house!! Halelujah!! So – – -we drove home the next day and made it without further incident.

And then a few days later it started not shifting again, I was stuck going 55 on the freeway, glad that wasn’t our drive home from St. George! We were definitely blessed to get home as planned. Doesn’t sound like much but it was a huge blessing especially when you have 3 little kids that may or may not behave. Ends up we had a solenoid (sp) that needed replaced and are back in business – at least for now.

I wish I had went to school to fix cars – that would be a lot more useful in this life of mine. Or maybe learned something about plumbing since I just wrote the plumber a check for a frozen pipe – -boo.

PS – I had a Dr apt today and all is well with #4, yahoo!

    St. George Part II

The rest of our pictures from the trip:

Packer has been begging to go fishing since he got a fishing pole for Christmas. They brought their poles to Sand Hollow Reservoir and had a good time pretending to fish.

Matt and Jamie brought 2 wave runners to the reservoir which made for a perfect day at the beach!!

Packer and I heading out for a ride. He did not want to come back in and loved 'driving' it!

Benji ran around with cousins all day and rolled around in the sand. He is getting so big lately - must be almost 5!

The sand was very red but very fine and soft - We built a sand castle and a sand turtle and a fish.

Cali was sooo good at the beach. She played in the shade tent for a long time and then LOVED the water when I finally let her get in.

Friday was spent at the reservoir. Saturday was playground, pool, movie and park. And Sunday was time to come home already :(. The trip went way to fast. ร‚ย Today is another wet and rainy day in PG – we snuck over to the park – and were the ONLY ones there, we did beat the storm so it worked out well. Cali has finished her 2 hour nap – I have come to learn that that is exactly what I can expect of her. Atleast I am learning not to hope for those 3 hour naps anymore.

    Sunday morning at the condo.ร‚

Cali and Anna - ready for church.

    over-rated

I always thought St. George was over rated. EVERYONE in Utah County goes there for vacation and really is it that cool of a place?
Well, ya – when winter seems to be never ending St. George is the perfect answer. The drive is ‘short’ and the weather was awesome. The first few days of spring break were spent cooped up in our house with an occasional outing into the snow dustings:

On Thursday we drove down to St. George and watched as the thermometer climbed from the 50’s into the high 70’s and then the 80’s. We had a perfect weekend at the pool, at the lake, and with a bunch of cousins. It was very nice to catch a glimpse of the spring weather to come – please come fast!

My computer is being super slow right now and I need to get the kids in bed so I will put more pictures up later. Over-rated or not? – – either way we had a great weekend!
