MY HOUSE IS COVERED IN HAIR! BETWEEN ME AND THE DOG WE ARE LOSING HAIR BY THE HANDFULS – UuuGH!
I made the best purchase EVER a few months ago… It is the “extendable Arm!” One day I was just thinking how nice it would be to be able to hand Packer his sippy cup when he drops it on the van floor WITHOUT undoing my seatbelt and getting out of my seat and crawling behind Cali’s carseat to find the cup and wouldn’t that be nice to stay in my seat and somehow have happy kids… Well, ROSS came through again. I didn’t even know I was looking for the “Gopher Reaching Tool” but there it was and NOW IT IS MINE and now I just reach back with the grabber and voila a happy boy with his Sippy! It can grab food, toys, books, whatever… I love it. I am so excited for our next big trip!!
YOU TOO CAN HAVE ONE OF THESE FOR JUST $14.99Â Â this is the exact one that I have – it folds up but is quick to get out when I need it. click on this link or the picture for more info:
 I LOVE THIS THING!

Popsicle FEET – – I am a horrible California raised mother! I say this because after a long winter it is finally warming up and I got warm a few days ago and just turned off the heat. I didn’t turn it down – I turned the whole thing to off. Well this morning my little Pack Man was crying for his mom and I finally go in to get him up for the morning and he is just frozen – I put him to bed with no socks on AND he had peed through his diaper soaking his clothes. I felt horrible! I came down and found this…
ONLY 53 degrees inside our house!!! I am an idiot.
Another reason I lose… I have been very good about staying in the same room as my kids when they are bathing because I want them to be extra safe in the bath tub. Last night the kids came in from the backyard and Packer was covered in Sand and snot so I had to put him in the tub. I sent Benji, Pacen and Cam in to wash their hands in the other bathroom and I ran downstairs to finish something that I was doing for dinner. Nathaniel came right then and then Sam Hancock and then I took the rolls out of the oven and the kids finished washing and I put the desert in the oven and Aunt Kathy called and then I hear a little cry for Mommy from some where upstairs. OOHHH NO!!!!! I ran up those stairs fast – like fast before I had 3 kids fast and the tub was over flowing – full to the brim and Packer was standing their confused and scared. I am an idiot. I am SO THANKFUL that Packer was smart enough to get up and call for help. I think I lose my brain a little each day 🙁
and… It’s times like this when I know that Packer has been hanging out with Camry Hancock a little too much…
This has turned into the Packer Post. One more CUTE thing he does is whenever I bust out singing “SCOOBY DOOBY DOO”, then he chimes in with “where are you” and I love it. So cute when they are learning to talk…. and here is my smiley little almost 3 month old. We will be blessing her this Sunday and are excited for the big day!
Last Night we had the Hancocks minus Erica over for dinner and Pacen didn’t like the food so… he secretly moved his food to Benjis plate. Right then Ben came up and started to encourage Benji to eat his potatoes and finish his dinner. Benji was confused because he had finished his dinner and Pacen just couldn’t lie… “those are my potatoes”.  Pace wasn’t sure if he was in trouble or not so he hid from my camera but  it was a pretty funny little trick for a 4 year old 🙂
And last night I participated in my first Conference call. It was a Robertson Family phone call – we gave every one the number and time to call and then we ALL talked about vacation plans for this year – and the verdict is… we are going to FORT BRAGG! My family used to go to Fort Bragg, CA every Labor Day weekend when we were kids. Lots of other families and friends also had this tradition and we just have so many great memories of the beach, crab catching, soccer on the sand dunes, the tide pools, seals, and the perfect camping spots. I am super excited to take Ben and our kids there and there is a chance that all of the Robertson dozen will be able to make the trip! (minus missionaries of course)
And after this incredibly long post – I am so happy when the baby swing works its magic…
sometimes I just don’t know how my mom never yelled at us! Maybe she did and I just don’t remember because today has been one of those days. Get the baby settled someone comes crying and waking her up. Try to play and be nice and just get fits in return. Take them to their cousins and they still cry. Runny noses. Poopy up the back. Peeing on the floor instead of in the toilet. Baby can’t sleep unless I’m holding her. Chairs are still on the table cause I’m still trying to mop since 8am. Grouchy kids finally get in bed for naps but they don’t sleep – they kick the walls and yell Mommy and then let me know that Packer is poopy AGAIN… where did the peaceful happy days go???

Last Night at the BYU v. Colorado State Basketball game… GO COUGARS! Benji got to give Cosmo 2 high fives!
Bath Time. They never want to get in the bath but once they are in you can’t get them out.
My brother collects the origional GI Joes from when we were kids and on Tuesday he made his biggest and greatest purchase yet – THE USS FLAG!! CONGRATULATIONS Josh!!
Tonight we went to our favorite Chinese Restaurant for LaNell’s birthday – HAPPY BIRTHDAY LaNell! -thanks for letting us celebrate with you. (we forgot to tak a picture though 🙁 )
You miss a lot of blogging opportunities when you don’t have a computer for 5 days so this is me making up for that. As a side note – I do have a cleaner house after not having a computer.
Cali finally gave us her first smiles!
KANGAROO ZOO
My Brother Joel, Sister Tracie and her Husband John came over last Friday. We had a Waffle Brunch and then they took Benji and Packer to Kangaroo Zoo and I got to stay home and relax/clean. They took Lots of pictures and it looks like they had lots of fun. Benj and Pack love having so many aunts and uncles!
GAME NIGHT
We had an arcade and video game night with some friends and family. We had 4 or 5 different stations with arcade games, old school Nintendo, XBox, and Wii. Some of the favorite games were Dr. Mario, Tysons PunchOut, Brain Teaser, Ms. Pac Man, Fusion Frenzy and Excitebike. It was fun, especially when I beat Than at Dr. Mario! (he beat me 3 times before that though).
SLEEP OVER!
Sean (Bens old roommate)Â and Erika Thal stayed for a slumber Party. We let the kids stay up entirely too late but we hadn’t seen them for forever so it was worth it. Benji and Carter played Super Heroes and Ping Pong all night and Packer and Kenzie did their own thing. We had a great time catching up with them. Thanks for coming guys!
BALL o FUN
His Favorite Spot…
SUNNY SIDE OF THE ROAD
This is our driveway. It is Danger. The snow came during Christmas Vacation and we haven’t been able to catch up. We’ve just been catapulting our vehicles over the ice baracade to get in and out! The neighbors all have nice clear driveways and side walks but ours is frozen solid. (Someone has to have the North Facing House that is always shaded so it might as well be us). We did venture across the street the other day and the temperature was atleast 15 degrees warmer on that side! So we rode bikes and enjoyed a little bit of sunshine!
FUSSY BABY
Cali is going through a fussy stage the past week. Every night around dinner time until midnightish she is fussy and wants to be held and bounced and fed. She usually doesn’t fall asleep and stay asleep until I do… hopefully it is just a stage but in the meantime I am going to change my eating habits to see if that helps.
BROTHERS
This is where you will find my boys right now and most mornings. They love to watch their show while they drink their milk and eat cereal in a bag. Mom loves this time because it’s nice to shower without company and get things going for the day.
Just over a month out and we’re still undecided. Ben and I have been having fun with this little widget though:Â
Popularity of names starting with PHILOMENA

I just looked through my October pictures and all i see are pumpkins – I guess its that time of year with farms and pumpkin patches and our garden and…. I now know why that is one of Packers first words. We are in love with pumpkins this year! We had a few pumpkins in our garden still so we picked the last of them this week and we got some fun pictures with Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandma and Grandpa Nettesheim are on their way home today 🙁 but we had a great time while they were here. Our favorites were playing Candyland, Sheepshead, and O’shucks with them.
LaNell, Mikila and Katie came over to carve pumpkins last night – – we had fun and we think our pumpkins turned out pretty good. Mine is the “wicked” one in honor of seeing the show on broadway. You might be able to guess who wanted a Ninja Turtle and Packer and Ben came through with some good Jack o Lantern faces for us.
My mom works at a dental office. My little sister Tracie is a Dental Hygienist now. BUT I hate going to the dentist. The tools, the scratching, and the polisher. It’s almost the same as nails on a chalk board.… but I feel the pressure to go. I know that getting your teeth cleaned is a good thing and I realized that we are paying dental premiums whether I actually go or not so we are going. I went on Monday. Ben is waiting until he gets his braces off so he gets to go the first week of November. and Benji gets to go on Friday! He has never been so this should be exciting – did I say exciting? I meant INTERESTING. Thanks to Aunt Amanda (who just took her kids in)- after spending a morning at their house Benji is very curious to find out if he has Ninja Turtle Teeth or Spiderman Teeth or maybe Ben 10 teeth if he is really lucky!! Wish my shy little 3 year old luck in the morning – the dental chair awaits!
This is the view from our driveway looking North East and East.
We have some pretty sweet mountains.
