And that was the last night – we had to pack up and get out of town friday morning 🙁
We had such a good time. Its always fun being with family and building cousin bonds.

Another great day in Wisconsin: swimming and bug bites!
Tuesday in Wisconsin
Al Johnsons Swedish Pancakes and Meatballs! And then hanging out with the sheep on the roof…
After breakfast we headed back and a group played soccer while some of us went on a hike!

We played soccer and pickleball and some people went to find the creepy cabin and swam and then had to get ready for picture day!
Happy 4th of JULY
Sunday at the Rushes: we did at home church and then headed over to mom and dads condo to visit, and hang out, and eat, and celebrate Julia, and see extended family, and wait for fireworks!

Saturday July 3rd! At the Kangaroo LAKE!!!
Sand, Paddleboards, minnow catching, and paddle boats! Then dinner at Michelle and Udine’s condo and hanging out and CUSTARD!
SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA
We love Amusement Parks! We got there right before 10am when it opened, We headed to the left. Superman was not open yet so we got in line for the Dark Knight. We got a call the night before from Matt and Jamie seeing if they could meet up with us!!

It was fun being able to ride a lot of the rides with the WHOLE family!
The older crew stood in line for a LONG time for Superman – I hung with the younger kids!
We were LOVING X FLIGHT by the end of the night!
And shooting games are always fun!

And just like that the sun was setting and we were running to a few last rides!
X Flight again and Ben took all 3 of the younger kids on the Goliath! We thought Tiago was too short and we thought some kids were too scared but they weren’t! We should have done a few more big rides with these littles!
We closed down the park and then went back to our hotel and ate and crashed. We are definitely a Roller Coaster Family 🙂
Meanwhile back at home
It was nice to have a couple of days of down time and getting ready for our next summer adventure.
The kids went to play with Gus, Dagny, Mae and Kit one of the days:

On Friday we went to the lake with Matt and Jamie and Michelle and kids! The water was perfect for an hour float and soak.
We ate Dinner at the park that night and met up with Pete and Amanda. Then back to the house for games and we hung out all day Saturday up there playing games and eating and swimming and watching the Bucks basketball game. Mom and Dad and Emily and kids even came up for Saturday.
