We had to SEARCH for our baskets and barely found them before 9am church!

Some people fell asleep at church. Others enjoyed the really good Easter talks. We enjoyed some Sunday afternoon time and then we headed to Pete and Amanda’s house for Dinner and an egg hunt!!

After 3 days of Disney we went to relax at the beach. We slept in and packed up and headed off to the coast. The cousins had a place at Balboa so we went there this time! We brought sub sandwiches and snacks and boogie boards!

And a few more shots. We really had a relaxing time. We tried to boogie board. Built sand castles. Took a nap. Flew a kite. Chill.

We were craving milk shakes so we said goodbye to cousins and headed to dinner and our hotel for the night. We ordered dinner and LARGE shakes to go. The SHAKES were HUGE! We were all too full to touch our burgers and fries! We checked into our Suite and went to the swimming pool and fell asleep watching TV.

April 6, Wednesday – Day 3 – Park Hopper – FINAL ROUND

We raced to Rise of the Resistance and we killed it this time!! We were on the ride at 8:15am!!

And the getting on the other ride at 9am!

Off to find whatever rides had short early morning lines!!

Then we did some shopping – each kid was trying to choose their one thing to buy! Then we headed over to California Adventure! And went straight to Guardians of the Galaxy – yes, I sat out again!

Then we met up with the cousins! and all “slept” on the incredicaoster:

Back to Goofy at 7:30 – where I got so mad that they let single riders on and messed up all of our cousin groups! and 9:00 Toy Story Mania!

Then back to do one more COASTER!!

And of course one more GUARDIANS – but I snuck over to Cars Land! 10:00pm

Goodbye California Adventure!

And we’ve got an hour and a half left at Disney! and Ben still needs to buy his helmet souvenir!

And that’s a wrap!! We love you Disney. See you in three years! Thanks for all the fun moments with our kids! and with extended family. We are exhausted but Happy 🙂

April 5, Tuesday – California Adventure Park!

And we raced with EVERYONE else over to Cars Land!! It’s such a good ride. No fast pass unless you pay extra. We waited 40 minutes but the rest of the day it’s closer to 80 minutes.

And then the day unravels from there…

INCREDI-COASTER! We all went on it! First time for Packer, Rose, Ray, Millie and Tiago!! and everyone LOVED it!

and then we made our way around the “lake”. And we did Soarin over California at some point.

And then the long awaited and much anticipated GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!

I was the only one that didn’t enjoy it! Tiago was holding on and shaking the whole time but he said he LOVED it and he went on it several more times! All of the kids and Ben were raving about it. I just felt claustrophobic and trapped and out of control. After that we met up with the cousins and did some of the smaller rides like Jelly Fish and Goofy… I don’t remember for sure but we ended up over at the IncrediCoaster again!

Then we waited in line for the new Spider Man. It was our longest wait of the day. A solid hour. But its a new ride and we wanted to do it together and it was a pretty cool web shooting “experience”! Then we met up to do Guardians with ALL of the cousins.

We were do for dinner or at least a snack so we got ice cream cones!

And then back to the Incredicoaster – 8:30pm

And then we finally did Toy Story Mania – 9:00pm. After that we only had an hour left so we did Goofys sky school and made our way out of the park.

We debated on going over to Disney for an hour and a half but we decided to call it a day and get another early start on Wednesday. We had such a fun day but we were wiped out!

April 4, Monday 7:00am – We got in line EARLY. This is the line to get in the line to get in the next line! This line does a bag check. Next line you need your ticket. And then you wait in line for the rope drop inside the park at 8:00am.

Here we go: We raced to Rise of the Resistance!! The new Star Wars land is so great. So realistic and fun and the rides were Amazing!

Millenium Falcon is the other new “attraction” – we ran right over there for our next ride:

We got our picture professionally taken before leaving Star Wars and then we jumped in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Coaster and then over to The Haunted Mansion and on the the Jungle Cruise. The cousins were on Jungle Cruise but they were s bit ahead of us and we missed catching up with them.

We all got in the same jeep for INDIANA JONES!! and we got Dole Whip! and then found the cousins!

Millie Really wanted to do the Rocket Ships that we kept walking right by…

And then back to SPACE MOUNTAIN. Everyone was loving this one!

What’s going on at Star Wars land?? Resistance was closed but we went on Millenium again!

And then back to the other side of the park cause we hadn’t been on Matterhorn yet!

and back across main street …

And that’s a wrap! We made the walk home with our tired feet and fell into our beds! 17 hours – 21ish Attractions!

It was like 50 degrees!

Ben and I had a 6:15 soccer game and we both scored goals!

and then we went over to watch Julia do her Cheer routine before they go to Nationals!
