We had an awesome Labor Day weekend camping at MacKerricher State Park. I went every year as a kid so it was nostalgic to be there and to share that with Ben and the kids. Most of my siblings and their families were also there – we ordered brown sweatshirts and had a mini reunion. And a number of families that we grew up with also came with their families so it was second generation Fort Bragg trip and it was pretty neat to be there with EVERYONE.
Ben and the boys, back to camp after a trip to the restroom.
On Our Way To The Beach! She loves it up there on Dads shoulders.
Packer wasn't ready for the waves or for the COLD water!
First time at the ocean (well Benji has been but not since he was 1) they liked it from a distance.
I just love Cali's face in this picture!
This is SandDollar Beach - Cali was the exact wrong age for a beach day - she tried to eat sand all day.
Friday was beach Day. The boys played in the sand. Ben and I played football and soccer and I hit a few waves in the numbing cold water.
Saturday = sliding on the sand/grass dunes - GO BENJI!
Packer and Lily? or Maddy ( I still can't tell the twins apart)
Joel, Shan, and Kels trying to show the neices and nephews how it is done.
Exploring with Uncle Michael, seals and star fish.
Exploring with Grandma!
ohhh!
Packer touching a star fish at low tide!
Benji holding a little tiny crab.
Part of the family at the tide pools, this is right near the camp and a tradition from when we were kids.
Cali was in heaven cause everyone that walked by would give her more food to eat.
messin with the squirrels at glass beach. This beach is covered in weathered and smoothed glass. We forgot our camera so I stole this pic.
Lots of Oroville friends and our lucky spouces 🙂
