Back in Business
The challenge is going to be the Rose and Raymond combo. If anyone is in – Rose will want to be in but she is just little enough that I feel like I need to be in there with her which is ok but I don’t always have a free hour for hot tubbing. So I will have to figure out when the best times to tub are and we’ll see if Raymond enjoys it or not. Anyway – the kids love it and it helps them get comfortable with water. Love my hot tub/swimming pool.
Rosie Rose
Rose is a crazy little 1 and a half year old. She was 18 months on April 1st (speaking of April fools: we put koolaid in cups and the kids all tried to drink it – hee hee). Rose can be extremely fun or extremely moody. She has decided to start biting her bottles so I am trying to get her to switch to a sippy – we are having medium success but she still loves the bottle when I just give in and give it to her. She is much happier and less moody with a stomach full of milk.
Rose has discovered the whipped cream in the fridge. I made the mistake of giving her a taste straight into her mouth and now she can’t get enough. She follows me into the kitchen and speaks gibberish until I give her some cream. I must admit that it is pretty cute.
Rose said “yellow” today! and she still says “sorry” in a really cute voice and accompanies it with a hug. She has started teasing her siblings – her teasing is taking game pieces and messing everything up that they are doing, not so cute but a learning opportunity for all involved. That’s it for now but I’m sure she’ll do something new or crazy soon so I’ll be back.

Ben and “Press Here”
Ben went to Benji’s classroom on his lunch hour yesterday and read a story to the class. I think they have someone come every Monday and Benji was so excited to have his dad come. He did the same last year when Benji was in Kindergarten and they both loved it. I wish I would have gotten a picture of them. I love that Ben takes time to do little things that are special and the kids will remember. Hopefully he can keep it up with the other kids ( no pressure :))Â He found an interactive book called “Press Here” and the kids are loving it.
If you want to you can buy it here at Amazon. Anyway, just thought I’d share the cool book and the coolness of a dad that can take a lunch break and make his 1st graders day 🙂
