The Letter that I wrote to him:
February 20, 2014
Dear Packer,
You are an AWESOME kid! We are so happy that you are our son. Some of our favorite things about you are:
1. You are kind to everyone.
2. You are good at being silly and making us laugh.
3. You are great at listening and following rules.
4. You are a Super Duper Good Brother to Benji, Cali, Rose, Ray and Millie.
5. You always tell the truth.
We love having you in our family. It is so much fun to play with you even when you keep beating us at Skylander Guess Who. Mom loves watching you play soccer. Dad loves wrestling with you when he gets home from work.
Keep Up the Great work.
Love,
Mom and Dad
P.S. he is doing better on his spelling tests! 8/10 this week with a baskward s and p.
New Camera!
We went to the ZOO
I think Packer is picking a nose in this one. Silly kids.
Mr. Mom
I ended up with lots of pictures of the backs of their little heads. I’m sure they have curious happy smiles on all of their faces.
Here are my favorite pictures:

Millie being a Happy Baby. Ben took care of her and got her to sleep. She was too young to notice any of the animals.

Rose and her map. Which way to the Tiger? They all enjoyed using the map and trying to find out what was next.
The kids LOVE the animal statues – almost more than the real animals – I guess because you can climb all over them – We took a picture or 3 or 4 at all animal statues!
Rose did whine if she didn’t get prime animal seating.
The real animals for you animal lovers out there… Monkeys are always fun. A favorite this time were the Otters. The Rhino’s were being fed so we got to see them up close. Most of the “cats” were asleep but the Cheetah was on the prowl. The Polar Bear did not perform his swimming back flips this time but he’s still cool and Giraffe’s are always fascinating:
Valentine 2014
Packer made us each a Valentine early in the week
Rose made Valentines for mom and Dad at her story time.
We visited Grandpa and Grandma Great and took them a valentine on Wednesday!
Another Packer craft. He also made a special handmade valentine for his teacher 🙂
Being Lazy on valentines day morning.
Ray ate his Valentine treats for breakfast 🙂
This cutie watched everyone else eat candy and played with her balloon. She is interested in food but I am not interested yet…
Ben and I got to go out Friday night. We watched some PG basketball and then ate at Chubby’s! Happy V-day – catch ya next year 🙂
RAYMOND is 2!

Ray turned 2 on the 13th! He is a cute 2 year old. I tried to let him do what he wanted throughout the day which is a little risky but low key. We played and stayed in pajama’s and ate junk food:
Grandma and Grandpa Nettesheim stopped by in the afternoon with a gift for the birthday boy- It was his special pillow with a pillow case for every holiday that Grandma made!
In the evening when the kids and Dad were all home we opened presents. We decided to go with one big gift this time and got him the “Sports Climber”. It’s a slide but it also has a basketball hoop and a soccer and football goal built into it. He is such an active boy and it seems to be a perfect fit. He and his siblings have already had hours of fun:
And then we had cake and ice cream. For some reason Ray freaked out when it was time to blow out the candles. He had been pretend practicing all day but when it came down to it he was tired and something set him off.
Raymond is a busy boy. He is always looking for fun or trouble. He brings a lot of craziness and joy to our family. Bring on the TWO YEAR OLD.
The Latest and Greatest

A little toddler weight lifting 🙂 Ray tries to be just like cousin Christian. He thinks Christian is the Man.

These 2 convinced me that we needed to make their valentine boxes over the weekend – they turned out pretty cool. Benji and Packer love them 🙂

This is our end of the driveway ice pond that we’ve had since the beginning of December. It is thinking about melting this week but is still there.
