Working on Donkey Kong Jr!
Julia! Julia comes over most Monday afternoons and helps with my kids! Sometimes I’m away at scouts, other times I’m home or run some errands. The kids love playing with her and love the attention.
If my hair would stay like this for more than 15 minutes then I would probably curl it more often…
My girls LOVE NERTZ! makes me a happy mom. I need to clear my schedule and play with them more.
The Car and Track are still a favorite:

Benji’s latest interest is the Rubix Cube! He got on UTube and taught himself how to solve it!
and these are a few of his favorite things… Pacifier, milk, and chips. If you leave the pantry open, he will find chips and beg until you let him eat them.
Millie and her glasses
I went out with friends last Wednesday and expressed my concerns about my moody and tired 3 year old. The next morning I decided to try to get her to wear her glasses and see if that would make any difference in her behavior.
She has worn them all week! She has loved the attention that I am giving her for being a big girl and keeping them on. (the daily prizes are definitely helping as well)
 
So, she is still napping daily. Which is only surprising because she hasn’t napped for a year and a half since she turned 2. But she is falling asleep on the couch most afternoons. She has been a little bit nicer and less moody but not a complete turn around yet.
 
 
So, I am excited that she is wearing the glasses and napping. Overall, I think she has had a better week! I think this week will be the struggle because it’s not a novelty anymore. I’m thinking of some good bribes and we’ll see what happens.
NOW, a week later – she hasn’t worn the glasses for 2 days – she LOST them in the toy room and I keep forgetting to go get them. I’m still undecided if the glasses are helping but I have decided to keep trying to get her to wear them and to try to get her to nap everyday.
Blue and Gold Dinner 2017
We all went to the Blue and Gold Dinner! I am still the Wolf leader and Packer is in the Bear Den. We had spaghetti dinner and awards and program. Then, Packer was excited to finally get to do the Cake Eating Contest!
Kevin and Liz
We got to spend 2 days with Kevin and Liz and their 5 kids!!
They were still on their 2 week vacation from the OROVILLE EVACUATION. They came on Thursday night and we played all day Friday and part of Saturday. We played lots of arcades and some games. The kids just entertained each other and had a blast. It was great to have some one on one time with their family.

Rose and her Writing
The kindergarten teacher sent home some little books and asked the kids to use them to write and illustrate their own books. Rose was so excited for this project:
