We spent a day over at Grandma and Grandpa Nettesheim’s house. The 3 oldest got to try the go cart that he made. Then we had lunch and they had the slip n slide and little pools out. The Wrights were there too! It was fun to spend the day away from our house.

LaNell let me be on a basketball team with her and a few girls that she has coached over the years. We have been playing every Thursday night and it has been a blast. We lost a bunch of games but now in the tournament we have won 3 and lost 1 so we are still playing this week 🙂
SO MUCH FUN
This time we went for dinner! Erica drove the kids in the motor home. I brought the pizza. We all enjoyed the evening out:

Ben is still enjoying the new job.  He is busy. The kids wanted to know what kinds of rabbits he has at work 🙂
These birds wanted to build their nest on our porch so badly but we DID NOT let them. I didn’t want to be dive bombed every time I used the front door.
We had to split up this year because the big kids actually wanted to ride the big rides!
I was going to go in the Starship because Rose is supposed to have an adult with her. BUT Gentry and I chickened out at the last minute. Â Rose rode it 2 or 3 times! and Packer doesn’t love big rides but he loves Star Ship:

And Cali convinced me to go on the Zipper with her, neither of us liked it but Benji did.
 
Cali had a good year of socer. She got to play with Mia, Anna, and Claira. They had a fun group of girls and some really standout players. They won most of their games and Cali scored in the first and last games!! She is starting to get more confident and see the field and make some good passes. She had a good assist in the last game as well.
I was waiting for pictures from the game that Grandpa went to but… maybe they aren’t coming so… this is it for now. Cali is going to be playing on a AA team this next year! She has already started practicing twice a week! Hoping it turns out to be a fun and growing experience for her.
