Mens Choir – Benji
Benji was in Mens Choir this year. They had a fun end of the year concert with all of the advanced Choirs. Benji likes Mr. Manning and will miss doing Choir in the future.

Millie Graduated Preschool!
Stockton, Savannah, Millie, Faye, and Emma
Millie loved Ms Janet and her new preschool friends! Ms Janet was so good to her and has so much patience!! Millie was the oldest in the class and liked being the boss. She was also very good at being big and letting the little kids get what they needed. We took Stockton to school every morning and Susan would bring them home. Their family is in the Hancock’s ward. Faye is in our ward so that friendship should last and Millie loves Faye. I’m excited for Millie to move on to Kindergarten. She will LOVE it!
POOL PARTY
We got the new pool set up! The kids swam in it even though it was freezing cold water and pretty cold outside – thank goodness for the hot tub. They swam 3 days in a row and then it rained for an entire week!
We are still waiting for the weather to warm up and so excited to be able to swim whenever we want!
SPOILED
Erica spoils these 2 kids like crazy! And she spoils me. I spent the morning out on the town and she took the kids to the park and to McDonalds!
Discovery Park
They tore down Discovery Park adn then asked the community to come rebuild it! We went on the first day that it was open to the public and helped get a few of the main poles set. This was back at the beginning of May and they were hoping to get it done in 8 days but we have had rain almost every day this month and I don’t think it is finished yet!
We are very excited for when it is finished though…
Mother’s Day
A great Mothers Day this year!! Breakfast Crepes in bed and cards from all of my children and then they sent me on a scavenger hunt to find my gift – a 4 ft deep, 18 feet long Pool!
After a great day at church we hurried home to welcome our neighbor Jonny Hansen back from his deployment. Then I got to talk to my mom! Then Millie and I made some cookies from a jar that she made at preschool!
Ben cooked a fabulous roast and Potatoes and we had his mom and all of the Nettesheims over for Dinner!!
Boys Night/ Girls Night
Father and Sons campoutwas on May 10th. Benji also had a Choir Performance singing the National Antem at the BYU baseball game! The boys went to the baseball game for the first inning and then went to Midway to camp! They had lots of treats and played and roasted marshmallows and slept in the van!
Meanwhile back at home: we picked Cali up from Soccer practice at 6:00 and then went to Maceys to buy all of the girls night necessities. We came back and ate Ramen and set up for Movie night. I needed to run and visit the Hirtzels and then when I got back we watched “It Takes Two” and ate SO MUCH JUNK FOOD. We started movie #2 and all fell asleep on the couch.
The next morning we woke up and watched more tv and ate more junk and then hurried and got ready for Rose’s 9:30am soccer game! The boys made it home early so Bne could coach!
This is always a fun weekend for the Girls and the Boys. We have lots of good memories!
Ben’s Birthday
Ben turned 44 on Thursday May 9th, 2019. We got ready for school and then had him open his presents! He was so SLOW. He took his time on every present and drove us all crazy. He got the Mike Tyson Punchout Pictures and some Avenger Barbies!
Millie and Tiago and I took Ben out to lunch at the Pancake House! We picked him up at work and had a blast. We hadn’t done lunch in a long time! That evening we had dinner and then Ben had young mens and so we waited until 9:00 to do cake and ice cream!
I made him a wacky cake with his moms recipe! and sometimes on your birthday you can comb your hair however you want! That actually is not surprising for Ben he is the life of the party at our house. The kids flock to him when he is home and we all love being with him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FAVORITE!
End Game
so much hype! all of the kids NEEDED to see it!! and they loved it!!!
Cali’s Soccer
Post Season Tournament was so Intense! We squeaked our way into the semifinals and then beat Lightning in Overtime Shootout making it to the championship Game! The final game ended up being against the other Stas team! We lost 3-1, unlucky. The girls played really well. Cali never subbed out and had awesome D and even a couple of shots. Anna scored our 1 goal. We snuck in an icecream run to celebrate the end of a fun season.
