Hope of America Award
In 6th grade each teacher gets to pick one boy and one girl from their class that they think should get the Hope of America Award. It is for someone that has excelled in all areas of academics and kindness and hard work and all the things! Mr. Ellison chose Cali!!! She’s such a great kid!
At this same assembly Rose got the Kindness award for her class!! And Mia and Gentry got it for their classes. We have awesome kids and awesome “cousins”!
Babysitting Gus, Dag and Mae for a Week!
Sunday May 16 – Sunday May 23
Three little bodies but mostly we just had fun. The kids played hard all week and they were so good for us. It was fun to see their personalities and see them do hard things and try to figure out what they would eat. We had to limit one Fruit by the Foot per day – but Mae always remembered to ask for one 🙂

Ben and I went several times during the week and so much family came to support him! Friday May 14th was Closing Night! – It was great. Benji loved being in the play and loved being a part of something so good.
He has found his passion and has big dreams and high hopes for next year!
May Stuff
Ben and I got our Covid Vaccine! We didn’t have any side effects or symptoms. Benji is getting string enough to challenge his dad at wrestling! And we had some fun with Gus, Dagny and Mae!
Cali playing soccer on a weeknight! Ben’s work team has been SO busy! And cute matching girls after getting their hair done!

The Kindergarten kids had a week of no school so Tiago begged to do our bike ride on the trail again! He and Emily have so much fun riding and exploring.
Field Trips
Rose got to go to the Aquarium!! She had a great time with Mykell, Zoe and Lucy!
Millie got to go to HeeHaw farms and Tiago did too!
Happy Birthday Ben!
Ben’s Birthday was on a Sunday this year! Mothers Day Sunday to be exact! We had a great day celebrating him and Motherhood.
He is the SLOWEST present opener – The kids hate it!
I got him Hoka hiking shoes, the Chirp wheels, a new mountain bike and a couple little things. Mom got him 2 new games! His parents gave him a nail/staple gun! Ben made dinner for me for mothers day and we went and visited his mom and then we had cake and did the spanking train!
Ben is always the life of the party at our house. He connects with each of the kids and with Me 🙂 He deserves the best and we love him.
