Shannon and Tommi
Wedding Day! These 2 got married on June 12 at Timpanogos Park up Provo canyon. They had it all planned out. They had a quick ceremony and exchanged vows and rings and then did a big group picture. After that all of the friends were invited for a reception.
There were lots of people there. Tons of family and tons of Oroville and even some Nettys so I had a good time visiting with everyone. They had a soda bar and a pretzel bar and then they had all of the rice krispy treats and cotton candy. We all had a great time celebrating these two love birds.
After all the fun and visiting we all helped clean up and escort them to their car :)….. Except Tommi’s sister cleaned the car before they could even see it! we were a little sad about it but what are you gonna do?
Saturday SET UP
I borrowed this moving van from a guy that lives near by and we had 12 tables and 125 chairs to bring in. Shannon and Tommi did all of the center pieces so we just had to hike everything in to the furthest spot and get set up. It was fun and it all looked beautiful. After setting up we left the girls up there to guard everything and adults all went to Costa Vida. Then we brought the girls home and had the boys stay on guard duty until we all came up for the ceremony and reception at 6:00.
Robertson’s Meet the Kings
June 11th – we met at a park in Orem to chat it up with Tommi’s family. The parents provided pizza and drinks. We visited and kids played ultimate and football and some spike ball. That night we did our Robertson roast for Shannon! We did the Best Of Shannon and all shared memories where she was at her finest… like chicken nuggets in the wrapper, driving directions, best choir director and mine was teaching us how to drink Cherry Pepsi at 10am. It was a good roast 🙂 and it was good to meet Tommi’s people. They were all nice and easy to talk to.
And of course we had to play games at night swim >>>
Wedding Prep – Cotton Candy Making
We got to help make the Cotton Candy for the wedding reception: It was pretty fun helping out in the garage with mom and some sibs!
The kids got to play with cousins: bikes, hockey, mine craft
Girls Camp – June 9-11
Cali’s First Girls Camp! They went up the Canyon near Logan Utah and stayed at Kristin Drakes dads house. They got to do a ropes course and hiking and Bear Lake. They did yoga and devotionals and Cali even bore her testimony. Cali and Ben both said it was amazing! Kristin was director and Michelle was one of her assistants and Ben got to be priesthood leadership. I’m so happy they had such a good camp and good leaders.
DIEGO is home!!
Elder Falabella came home on June 9th! He looks so good. And so old. It was so good to see Diego. He ended up coming home a month early with a concussion. The Dr. wanted to give him time to rest and make sure that he is 100%.
June 7-9 Liz and Kids
Liz and the kids came on Monday night! The cousins jumped right in to hanging out and playing games. Nertz, swimming, baking and hair and sleeping outside!
Our Favorite Tree
The tree in our old backyard was DYING 🙁 It was more than half dead so we had it taken down in June. It cost too much money (4G’s) but I’m glad its taken care of.
Warts – June 7th
Rose’s warts on her hands have gotten really bad so we went to the Dr. to get some help… She started with 3 shots right into the warts. She has pills to take 3 times a day and we are putting an expensive cream on them every night at bedtime.
