Cali’s First Girls Camp! They went up the Canyon near Logan Utah and stayed at Kristin Drakes dads house. They got to do a ropes course and hiking and Bear Lake. They did yoga and devotionals and Cali even bore her testimony. Cali and Ben both said it was amazing! Kristin was director and Michelle was one of her assistants and Ben got to be priesthood leadership. I’m so happy they had such a good camp and good leaders.
Elder Falabella came home on June 9th! He looks so good. And so old. It was so good to see Diego. He ended up coming home a month early with a concussion. The Dr. wanted to give him time to rest and make sure that he is 100%.
Liz and the kids came on Monday night! The cousins jumped right in to hanging out and playing games. Nertz, swimming, baking and hair and sleeping outside!
The tree in our old backyard was DYING 🙁 It was more than half dead so we had it taken down in June. It cost too much money (4G’s) but I’m glad its taken care of.
Rose’s warts on her hands have gotten really bad so we went to the Dr. to get some help… She started with 3 shots right into the warts. She has pills to take 3 times a day and we are putting an expensive cream on them every night at bedtime.
Mom and Michael got in to town the evening of June 4th and are staying at our house! They came a week early to be here for Shannon’s wedding. We played Nertz and chatted and had Sunday dinner. And they visited friends and family and then more of the family started coming during the week!
Sunday Dinner Games and Cookie Dough!
Saturday June 5th – we met up with family and friends for the Demolition Derby! They derby was pretty WIMPY to put it nicely. Not many heats or many drivers. Luckily we had good company and pulled some fun out of it.
Rose passed the trophy on to Seans brother in law Enrique and we caught a few fireworks at the end of the night.
Packer ordered this AJR sweatshirt with his birthday money from Grandma R. He just got it in the mail and he loves it. He loves to put his earbuds in and listen to AJR on repeat. He is able to find the edited versions and he has most of us hooked on their music.
Trinkets from Mexico – and Ray and Noah after practicing soccer.
Hot Summer Days
We spent an evening at the park for Ellie’s birthday! and Millie and Tiago and I took our bikes to Harvey park – Cali ran with us and Packer long boarded.
Hanging out at Joel and Megans – with Baby Kit of course!
Soccer Tryout Week is such a roller coaster of emotions. I think I stress more than Cali! She went to Arsenal and Surf and Celtic tryouts and she got offers. She chose to play for Celtic on a Premier 2 team with Anna and Mia and Udine is the assistant coach!!! Hurray!
