Garth Brooks!

I’ve been waiting a long time to go to a Garth Brooks concert! DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! I was not on the ball and ready to order tickets when they went for sale but as the summer came and I realized I really wanted to be there I started looking for tickets but they were out and people selling were asking for a lot… so… When Cami told me she had an extra ticket and maybe 2 – I was very excited. She let me have them for face value – right around $100 each. Ben and I had such a good time singing along to EVERY song. I would go to another GARTH concert any day. It was fun to be out in SLC and ride the front runner/ bus and figure out concerts and covid and I got to see Abbie there.

SHOPPING – trying to get ahead of the back to school rush – these are the shoes the girls want but they weren’t on sale, BUT We got a great sale at old navy. Everything was 2-3$.

We finished the drive home on Sunday the 11th. We got to watch Bryce give his Missionary Homecoming Talk!

Brewer was happy to have us home!

The Road Home

After the baseball game – around 11pm we started heading west and looking for a hotel. It was hard to find one before so we figured we’d head away from the city and see what we find… We started getting pretty desperate around midnight but all the hotels I called pretty much laughed in my face. NOTHING. We drove until about 2am and then parked at a rest stop. We tried to sleep in the car! Some slept, some didn’t. At 5:00 Ben started driving again. and then I took the 8am shift and then we grabbed a Hotel in Wyoming around 4:00 and called it a loooong day.
