    It is finally here! Christmas is here! It is so fun to be together and watch each of the kids and Ben open their gifts and just be in the excitement with each other.

    Benji got to be on the phone with us while we did presents! It was crazy. He opened his gifts – we opened ours. So Fun!

    EVERYONE GOT LOTS OF GOOD STUFF AND THEN WE OPENED AND PLAYED WITH IT ALL. Shannon came by to play. And we had Mom and Emily over for dinner! And we got all packed up for California. And we talked to Benji some more!

    8pm and they are still out playing basketball 🙂 yes, my heart was happy!

    And then we did the Nativity!!

    and laughed at Tiago’s sheep costume!

    And then we had the gift exchange!

    Lots of fun was had throughout the night. Emily made Ben’s hoodie! and Amanda got one of her needed McDonalds Nuggets 🙂 We love this family. We love the holidays. We did miss having Dad around since he was still in the hospital.

    Then we sent everyone home so we could get ready for Santa to come!

    Christmas Eve Sunday

    Christmas Sunday is always amazing. We had great choir songs and great speakers. I love Jesus Christ. I love celebrating his birth, life, death and resurrection. After church we had our sibling gift exchange! Tiago gave Cali Sweats, Cali gave Ray air hockey, Ray gave Tiago fuseball and a banana, Packer gave Rose sweats, Rose gave Millie earings and Millie gave Packer a blanket.

    Christmas Eve Eve

    We went to McDonalds a day early since the next day is Sunday. We had fun with the adult size Happy Meal! The craziest part was Amanda wanting to collect them all and telling her family that they needed to get the happy meal. Then Diego introducing the concept of the Golden Egg – one golden at every location. And then, THEN, Arri gave Amanda her unopened toy and it was A GOLDEN NUGGET!! You can only imagine how excited we all were in this moment! I’m still excited just remembering it 🙂 Since then she has completed the collection.

    That night we drove around to see some Christmas Lights!!!

    And Benji kept the McDonalds tradition alive out in DC!

    Hancock Day – Bingo Party

    After cookies and permit passing Rose and Gentry had a soccer game and then we went to the Hancocks for dinner and Bingo! A full day of fun!

    We brought Than a mini tetherball for christmas and of course he and I had to battle right then…

    The Enchiladas were great and the Bingo was entertaining! we fought over presents and tried to get Quincy something she wanted. Ben put it electronically on the TV so that was nice.

    Erica isn’t in any of the pictures but she did all of the work for a perfect pre christmas day 🙂

    After Christmas Cookies we went to the DMV and she passed the written test (2 tries) She is so excited to Drive!

    On Friday Morning we all went and frosted cookies with the Hancocks and friends! Erica makes so many cookies and we frost as many as you want. SO so Fun!

    Work Party Take 3

    Ben set up a nice dinner party and white elephant at Antica Sicilia in Millcreek. It was a very fancy meal. They served us family style so we could try all of the different things. I came home with heated snow gloves and an ice maker 🙂 Ben was a superb host and I think everyone really enjoyed it.

    Cali And Rose let me bribe them with a drink and they cleaned the Toy Room – My Christmas Elfs – And Chewey the Elf. And as soon as the Toy Room is clean then Millie and Tiago had some fun in there. More haircuts and poor Dad ended up in the hospital on December 21 – he had sepsus and some gall stones? He spent a few days trying to get the heart rate down and the infection identified.

    And we finished up our Christmas Shopping for all of the cousins!!
