Tooth Ache –
I had a toothache the whole time I was in California. I went to the dentist for another crown 🙁
Jana to Chico
MaRee Acebo was diagnosed with pancreatic(?) cancer and moved in to Angelee’s house so that they could help take care of her. Erica and I wanted to go out and be with Angelee and say goodbye to MaRee and this felt like the perfect time to go so we bought last minute flights and went for it. We rented a car and drove up to Chico. We spent Friday and Saturday there – it was really nice to be there and see Angelee’s life and have some good converstaions and be with MaRee. Michael came and played Nertz with us Saturday night and then I drove home with him to see the family. I spent the night at Moms and did church and Sunday dinner with them!!! It was so fun to see my mom and some family… and then I hit the airport Monday morning to go home.
Top Golf
Ben took the kids to Top Golf on Friday night!! They all loved it 🙂 I was gone visiting Angelee in California! The next day they played over at the school and had some funs.
More March
March 6 – Benji Choir concert. and Packer started drivers training!
March 7&8 – Ben’s new office! And Ray got to play some indoor! And I took the girls to AF Rec to workout and Swim – Millie did laps 🙂
March 9 – I went to Sundance with Jamie and Erica! Jamie’s Birthday!! and we have been wearing the Meter watches to earn some money…
March 1 – 4
Cali went to California with her soccer team. And Millie and I went to the dentist with a toothache!
The teens had combined Activity and then on Friday Ben took Packer and Ray to Antman with work! We watched Cove and Perry and Rome and Benji cut the trees for Udine.
Packer went up o birdcage and sledded with James and Asher:
Tiago went to a karate party, we watched Cali’s CA games and Erica gave Ben and Benji her Evan Hansen TICKETS!!
Cali to California
Cali got to go to Cali with her soccer team!! They went to the beach and to Disneyland and played two scrimmage games! We weren’t there but Cali said it was SO SO MUCH FUN! She loved it and loves her teammates!
Fourth Week of February
Wednesday Feb. 22 – We had a busy day but no pictures – Packer Film Festival, Benji wisdom teeth and ortho, Cali zoom with coach and Ray activity days. These boys are really into music right now!
Thursday Feb. 23 – no pics again! prep for sweethearts and teacher appreciation. Youth night! Look at my mission farewell program that I found 🙂 And it has been a SNOWY WINTER and I made it to 1000 days on DUO. And someone left Ben a message on his nice new office window 🙂 He finally has a private office!
Friday Feb. 24 – Ray had the 5th grade Wax Museum! Then we tried to go to Top Golf but the corporate pass didn’t work so… we went to dinner and the movie!! Our kids are at such fun ages! We had a fun night.
Saturday Feb. 25 – BASKETBALL 🙂 Ray had a game – he is playing with Corbin and Brady and Jaxon and Max and Noah- so I get to sit with Kristin 🙂 Cali is playing with Lollie and Greta Goodman and Annie Christensen – So I get to see Abbie and Brooke and Marci 🙂 Millie has a couple girls she knows but no one that we are close to – she is doing great out there. And Rose is on McKay Selphs team with Kaylee, Navy, Ivy and a bunch of other girls she knows. So fun to have b-ballers.
Sweethearts Dance for Benji and Hadley –
Sunday Feb. 26 – Alex is home from his mission! Meetings, puzzle races and games. Joel and Megan moved last weekend 🙁 We chatted with them on the phone. And yes it was me against all the kids and yes – they beat me 🙁
Monday Feb. 27 – No Pictures – Packer had Ortho, Cali had practice.
Tuesday Feb. 28 – I got Ben’s Ski passes and went to Sundance with Kristin Drake, Melinda Mitchell and Jamie! Kristin had been wanting to snowboard but hadn’t been in a while. We had fun on the mountain but she did get pretty beat up. Jamie and Melinda were on Ski’s so they did their thing while I tried to teach Kristin. I love these ladies. Even when Kristin tried to have Lupus or a heart attack on the way home!! She is a beast. Snow boarding is hard. I love that we did this.
And that night the boys finally went to Tucanos to Celebrate the end of wrestling! – chicken hearts?!
Third Week of February
Wednesday Feb. 15 – Rose got the Hawtie Shawtie award in her basketball game. We helped celebrate Lalo – and got the obituary about Udine’s mom passing 🙁
Thursday Feb. 16 – Ben hard at work with his SR swag. I drove the kids down to St George for Cali’s soccer tournament! We stayed with Matt and Jamie at their condo! It was Freezing at the game that night! This was 2 years since my dad passed away 🙁 It was good to stay busy. Abbie and Erica and Kristin called to check on me. I mostly tried to not be too sad and be in the moment with my kids. I sure do miss him though and wish that we had more time. Benji’s car got a flat tire 🙁 and Benji and Packer and Ben stayed for work and school but came down the next day.
Friday Feb. 17 – Soccer Tournament! We watched another freezing windy game in the morning and then the kids went back to the condo and swam! Ben and the boys came and BENJI found out that he got accepted to BYU!!!
Saturday Feb. 18 – The tournament was actually in Mesquite so we did a bit of driving there and back. On Saturday they played a 10:45am game and then we had a team luncheon at 1pm. And a night game. They lost that game so we were out of the tournament for Monday.
Sunday Feb. 19 – Ben and Benji booked it home for church! We went to Trent and Misty Kirby’s ward and then Sunday School at the house with Misty 🙂 They gave us all the snacks and entertained us for an hour or two! Then we headed back for dinner and the park and Dixie rock with Matt and Jamie!
Monday Feb. 20 – Presidents Day! We played at the condo and packed up and headed home!
Tuesday Feb. 21 – Back to real Life. Abbie Scott helped hem Benji’s new suit. Cali had a basketball game! PG BOYS WRESTLING ended – did not win state 🙁
Happy Birthday Ray!
Raymond turned 11! I can’t believe it! We partied hard that day and fit a lot in. We took the friends to top golf and ordered snacks and played and Then did cake and Ice cream as a family. It was a busy day but turned out great. Ray has a good friend group that he has really started hanging out with this year. He is still a shorty but kids and teachers love him. He is quiet but silly at home and sneaks by things a lot of the time. Happy Birthday Buddy!
Second Week of February
Wednesday Feb. 8 – Temple Night!
Thursday Feb. 9 – New arcade for the office – JOUST!
Friday Feb. 10 – Benji got his Wisdom Teeth out! Rose with her cute purse. Metting SUMMIT. Soccer games!
Saturday Feb. 11 – Gus got baptized at 10am, and then we partied and celebrated Kit’s birthday at the church. Ray had to miss his basketball game but we made it back for Rose to lay at 2 and Cali and Millie at 4pm. Then Rose had soccer at 9pm!
Sunday Feb. 12 – After church we watched the Super Bowl and celebrated Matts birthday!
Monday Feb. 13 – Raymond’s Birthday!! Kids had dentist apts. Packer had JV State Wrestling and we had Ray’s friends party that night at Top Golf!
Tuesday Feb. 14 – VALENTINES DAY!! Parties at school and when we got home. Cousins came over and Ben and I went out on the town with Sean and Erika!
