I am about to experience 4 full days of no diaper changing, no filling sippies, no mommy mommy get me this, no dog, no crying, no cooking, no 1 year old fits, no Why why why from a 3 year old, no cleaning the house, no nap time, no bed time,  pretty much no responsibility! 🙂 What’s a Girl To Do?

I get to go to New York! Ben has a work conference. I am tagging along. It’s our 5 year wedding anniversary! So what are the must do’s in New York? Anyone that has been I would love to hear what I should put on my agenda. I’m really excited. This is the first time that Ben and I have left the kids and gone on our own. Overdue? For Sure – I take full responsibility. I’ve been told that it is time to let go. my mommas boys can survive without me, it’s time to see if I can survive without them… so August 7th, New York City, here I come! Thank You to everyone that is helping with our boys!

The kids had a fun night at Kangaroo Zoo with their cousins. It’s a bunch of blow up bouncy houses and slides and the kids just went crazy for 2 hours!

    Sore Wrist

I have had a sore wrist ( maybe sprained – don’t know) and I have been out of commission and a  big Whiner. It hurts to pour milk and to sweep the floor and to pick up the kids and to undo the sippy and to lift Benji onto the toilet and to drive and to stir/cook and make sandwiches and feed the dog and … you never realize how many little things you do all day long that you just need to be able to do or else the house and kids don’t function… Being Healthy just moved up on my gratitude list!

    Brothers Gotta Wrestle

It’s 1:30 and my boys should be in bed for naps but for some reason this and bedtime are their favorite times to play and be silly – they are natural born bed-time stallers. I love when they wrestle like this 😆

    The Fly Eater

(No the fly eater is not Packer 😉 ) We have 4 horses in our backyard – like 30 feet from the house – so with the horses come lots and lots of flies. We also have a broken screen door. So this is a deadly combination for a house full of flies. Our dog is A Fly Eater! I thought dogs are supposed to clean up after you eat and keep the floor clean – our’s doesn’t do that very well , BUT he has been eating flies like a crazy man and I love it. Thank you Brewer!

    Driving Driving Driving

We compared the insane gas prices to the insane airlines and decided to drive to our destination at The Rushes on Kangaroo Lake in Door County, Wisconsin on the peninsula by Lake Michigan. It was a 24 hour drive to our destination! I am happy to report that our kids were champion travelers and we made good time both ways. It helped that we stopped in Nebraska to sleep on the way there and back.

    sleeping

We loved when Packer would fall asleep and Benji figured out that if he put the blanket over his head then it blocked the sun and he could watch his movies better! 🙂

    Ben 10

You wouldn’t guess that this smiling face had been in a car for a day and a half already 🙂

    Ben the machine

Ben Drove most of the trip. I drove maybe 5 of 50 hours so he drove 9/10 of it 🙂

    Grape Eater

Packer found the grapes in a bag next to his seat and started going to town on them – I wondered why he was being so quiet 🙂 He is a big time fruit eater.
