Days 12 and 13, Driving Home
Goodbye WISCONSIN! We’ll be back. We drove 15 or 16 hours on Saturday!
The water Towers were the Highlight of the drive – Tiago and Millie loved seeing them and calling them out and it made it fun for all of us to try and see them first. The first water tower we saw on the way out looked like a hot air balloon so that’s what Millie and Aggs called them most of the trip.
Some other trip highlights: Rose really really liked the creepy cabin. It was scary and it was her first time but she really wants to go in it next time. Packer: Going to the beach was so fun. Tiago: well don’t like mosquito bites. Millie: I liked all of the swimming.
Sunday morning we had a big hotel breakfast and finished the last 8 hours. The kids were happy to be home and out of the car. The raspberries were waiting for us and the dog and the toys and our beds. Millie and Tiago ran right out to find the neighbor friends. And we got Benji all packed for scout camp the next morning!
